My Website is Back Up and Running
>Thanks to Jason Burfield at PhotoShelter who figured out what the problem was while driving down the freeway on his way home from vacation with a Dairy Queen swirl kid's cone in one hand and an iPhone in the other....while downshifting to pass a semi.
He did what four level II tech geeks from Bluehost couldn't do in a week.
Gorge Games Street Party
>After my shift was over shooting the Gorge Games, I explored the bars and streets of Hood River, Ore. This is what I found.

Here's a video that Faith Cathcart did on Bruce Ely, Randy Rasmussen, Rob Finch and myself shooting the 100-meter race when Tyson Gay ran the fast time ever run by a human being in any conditions. Hopfully I don't sound too dorky.
Tomorrow is the last day and I'll be posting my photos soon after that.

Lack of Content on the Bloggage
>My apologies dear loyal readers of Thomas Boyd's Untitled Bloggage. It's crunch time on two projects I've been working on. I can't wait to post a gallery of my photos from the Columbia Gorge. It could be my best assignment ever. I spent four days shooting last week and I'll spend a few more tomorrow and Friday.

I think I'll start using this more for multiple photo updates. Mostly because the photos are huge and that's important to me, but I can upload photos to Picassa directly from Aperture with Ubermind's Aperture To Picassa Web Albums plugin you can get here: http://www.ubermind.com/products/aperturetopicasawebalbums.php
You simply select the photos in Aperture you want to be in the gallery. Export with the plugin to Picassa. Make the gallery in Picassa and and embed it in the blog. Like magic, it appears as a huge gallery.

>Clinton in Junction City
>I shot former President Clinton in Junction City this morning. I had a little time to crank off a few frames with a borrowed 45mm tilt/shift lens. I have to admit, I really dig the look and love shooting with it. I can't seem to get one in the paper...but I'll keep trying until that tilt/shift is pried from my cold dead fingers!

I shot this with my Hasselblad at the pool at the Courtyard in North Portland. I'm really excited because Pro Photo Supply can make 5x5 prints from the 120 film with the full frame black borders. I shot a photo of the print with my 5D and a 50mm lens so I could post it here. Once I'm settled I'll just scan the print on a flat bed scanner or scan the film. I haven't decided. Better yet, they are running a special that 120 processing and prints are only $5.
