I shot some of the stills and the time lapse for this video. I thought it worked out pretty cool.

Cole's Baseball Game on June 3, 2009, in Happy Valley, Oregon from Thomas Boyd on Vimeo.
I shot this to experiment with the new firmware update to the 5D Mark II that allows manual exposure control in the video mode. It worked great. This is a just quick edit so cut me some slack on the production value.
Tech info: Shot on a 5D Mark II with the latest firmware upgraded that allows manual exposure. I used 24-105/4, 5/1.4, 70-200/2.8, and a 300/2.8 lens.

I passed through Stevenson, Wash., on my way back from Boardman, Ore., and found this street concert by the Stevenson High School Marching Band.
>Bullet to the Eye

This is the closest I've ever come to losing an eye. I was edging my lawn in the front yard and weed eater caught a rock or something and it flew through my glasses and embedded a piece of glass in my eye lid. Another half-inch or less toward my eyeball and glass would have seriously injured my eyeball. I'm sitting her now with a chunk of gauze taped over a quarter-inch slice. I'm trying to decide if I need stitches or not. I'd rather not have to deal with it, but it may be necessary. I'm just glad I had on my sun glasses. Next time I will wear proper safety glasses. My lawn looks great though.

>Mt. Hood Pano Shot From My Backyard
This is a pano from three frames shot through a 600/4 IS with a 1.4x teleconverter on a 5D Mark II. The final stitched image was 151 mb. I didn't spend much time working on it to get rid of the flaws because it's not that interesting. But, I thought I'd at least post it here...mostly as experiment.
