About six years ago I found a box of Kodachromes in Greg's cedar chest. I didn't do anything with until this year when I thought it would make a good Christmas gift. There were 12 frames shot in 1947. One of them was a photo of Greg's parents. It was before they were married and they were about 25-years-old. The photo on the left is the raw scan. It looks very much like the original. The photo on the right is after I tweaked it in photoshop. I'm no expert in photo restoration, but I think it turned out pretty well.
