I shot this a few years back in Portland. It ran in U.S. News and World Report. With all the cities going smoke-free, this is something you won't see much anymore. Not that it's a bad thing. Shooting bars is a lot more comfortable for me now. I remember it being so smoky that my cameras would stink the next day from smoke. I would have to wipe them down with alcohol.
