A huge return of hatchery coho in Cedar Creek appeared after the rains recently. The fish are running so heavy they are literally jamming the little creek forcing hatchery managers to quickly assemble workers to harvest the surplus fish that will processed and donated to the Oregon Food Bank. I shot the underwater photos with a Canon 5D Mark II with a 16-35L. I also fired two strobes at the water from light stands using Pocket Wizard radio slaves. The video will follow in a few days.
