Instead, one of the founding principals of Boora Architects smiles, his bright eyes scanning the double-door front entry to the low-slung, California-style ranch snuggled into the Southwest Portland hills. "Hello," Nicole Olszewski says, standing in the doorway, 1 1/2-year-old Grace perched on her hip.

Just over two years ago, Nicole and Brett Olszewski bought the house Oringdulph designed and his brother built.

I'm now an associate photographer for Craig Mitchelldyer. We've known each other for a long time. I respect his photography, worth ethic and they way he does business. Craig's customers always leave happy. He provides a great product for a fair price. This arrangement allows me to concentrate on shooting and puts the post production and distribution in his capable hands. I look forward the coming year. Here's Craig's blog entry with the announcement.

Hundreds of sea lions that abruptly left San Francisco Bay's Pier 39 last Thanksgiving have apparently found a new home at the Sea Lion Caves, another tourist attraction 500 miles north on the Oregon coast. Editing Oregon Football

Added on by Thomas Boyd.

sp.uofbI'm in the process of going through about 20,000 images from 12 games and several other assignments from the 2009 Oregon football season. Every now and then I'll find a photo I missed in the initial edit. I found this frame this morning from the Purdue game. I shot it with a 50mm wide open and it gave it nice look. It's not really an image I would have sent after the game, but it might work nicely in the context of a book.
