I shot this band in their living room when I was visiting Patrick Pendergast's house the other night in Northeast Portland. They are Patrick's neighbors and they call themselves The Lord's Own Choir. They're a great bunch a people and I had a great time listening to them perform.

I'm now an associate photographer for Craig Mitchelldyer. We've known each other for a long time. I respect his photography, worth ethic and they way he does business. Craig's customers always leave happy. He provides a great product for a fair price. This arrangement allows me to concentrate on shooting and puts the post production and distribution in his capable hands. I look forward the coming year. Here's Craig's blog entry with the announcement.

Drizzling rain and temperatures hovering in the low 40s didn’t stop dozens of Portland area and Washington residents from lining up for hours Thursday in hopes of winning a spot on the television reality series Survivor. Chuck Miller, the first contestant in line, showed up at New Seasons Market in Happy Valley at 1 a.m., waiting 15 hours for his shot at the big time.

Editing Oregon Football
I'm in the process of going through about 20,000 images from 12 games and several other assignments from the 2009 Oregon football season. Every now and then I'll find a photo I missed in the initial edit. I found this frame this morning from the Purdue game. I shot it with a 50mm wide open and it gave it nice look. It's not really an image I would have sent after the game, but it might work nicely in the context of a book.
